So what is the purpose of this ad? Well as we all know advertisements are to inform, persuade, and remind the audience. The ad starts off with a guy straightening his hair mentioning how he is an inspiring beauty blogger.  In the ad he mentions how leaving the burning hair straightener on the towel will cause destruction but will be even worse if you have the wrong home insurance, he then goes on to tell the audience to get Allstate to protect them from mayhem. The audience he is trying to inform are home owners, he wants them to know they will be protected from Allstate and to choose them. In the video he is acting like an irresponsible teenage girl, which allows people to relate to him especially parents. He then goes on to compare the mark left on the towel to the mark left on someone with bad insurance. Insurance is supposed to protect someone from a financial loss under any circumstance. In the video he goes on to mention that Allstate will help cover the expenses unlike other insurance companies. The ad is very organized, entertaining, funny, and relatable which allows those watching to be persuaded into getting Allstate insurance.
